Vintage Ladies Skirt Lifter

Extremely rare item. When ladies wore the long flowing wool skirts to play tennis they used one of these. They would clip the back bottom hem and then pull it between their legs. The lifter was worn on a cord hanging from their waist in the front and this would create a pant effect. The cord is missing from this lifter. The lifter is in excellent condition and still works. The lifter is 5 inches long.
